Shell Fired is a creative studio working with clay, fire and raw material to form lighting, objects and art. Each piece is made by hand and carries the marks of its making, resulting in work that is quiet, elemental and deliberately restrained. In Spring 2026, the studio extends into place with the opening of Prospect — a lived expression of this approach, where objects, interiors and landscape come together. Shell Fired will release its first collection in Summer 2026. The practice draws on enduring forms and traditional processes, shaped by a contemporary hand, favouring material over decoration and making that reveals rather than conceals. These are pieces designed to sit within a space, to hold light, to carry weight, and to be used over time, with the studio grounded in a material practice deeply connected to place.
